Peter Ludlow is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who has worked with people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for more than twenty years. Peter has both clinical and forensic qualifications, and is licensed by the National Autistic Society to use the Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO). Peter offers private diagnostic assessments covering autistic spectrum conditions, using scientific psychological models to help people to understand their own experiences. This may involve consideration of labels such as ASD, Asperger syndrome, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), and dyslexia. The assessment package includes some follow-up time so that people do not simply get diagnostic labels without opportunities to explore what they mean for them. Peter also provides assessments for Court. Enquiries are made by Solicitors who think that their client requires further psychological assessment. They may suspect that their client has some undiagnosed or unmet psychological needs which may have led to alleged offending behaviour, or other difficulties, or which affect their ability to participate in aspects of the legal process.
